confused over pip payments

I have just had 2 payments of pip in March 1 on the usual date 6th and another on 29th my April payment was due on 7th April but has not gone into my bank account. I had a letter a couple of days ago about the new pip rates saying that the new pip amount will be paid from 7th April.

    The annual uprating won't make any difference as they'd just send a payment made up of the old & new rates.

    PIP is paid 4 weekly so your dates don't make sense.

    Payment on March 6th would mean next payment on April 3rd.

    it could well be that you are confused pip is paid every 4 weeks and one month of the year you would get two payments in one month

    Two payments in March 1 and 29 the next payment will be 26th April.and four weekly onwards.

    The payment you receive on 26 th April with be from 29March to 7 April will be at old rate and from 8th -26th at new rate.
