How long does it generally take for DWP to inform HMRC of the contributions based ESA benefit ( New Style ESA) received during the past tax year ? On my tax account it is still showing £0 under the PAYE section. Will a P60 be issued ?

I’m not aware of DWP informing HMRC that you’re claiming ESA. You will receive your P60 at some point in the coming months so you will need to inform HMRC yourself.0

When doing a self assessment tax return all taxable benefits such as ESA have to be declared. ESA is recorded as PAYE income on the personal tax account and, I assumed, a P60 would be generated. As I said, £0 is currently showing as received for the tax year 2022/23. I can always add up the payments I have received.0

DWP usually send out P60s around May/June.0
