How common are paper based reviews?

Hi,

I am hearing about more and more people not having an assessment for their PIP review. I understand that this is a 'paper based' review. How common is this now?

    Recently, they appear to be quite common, but not guaranteed. I am assuming it is more probable where there is little or no change expected.

    @Tommy787 it will depend on many factors like being consistent with all the information on your form and all your medical evidence. In my case I had everything to back it up and there was no discrepancies in my paperwork or my form and the DWP could see I was never going to improve.

    I was awarded ongoing PIP on papers only.
