BUSINESS MENTORING FOR THE DISABLED
Hi Folks
As you know it can be very difficult to get paid employment if you are a disabled person. Therefore I am thinking of starting up a business.
Are you aware of any business mentors specifically for disabled people?
Thanks

Hi @Manjinder ,
Please , i would like to write to you maybe you can find helpful to read a book written by Tony Robbins - Awaken The Giant Within , or Dale Carnegie - Leadership Mastery How to challenge yourself and others to greatness.
Please i would also like to add from myself that while running my company ( apart from the fact that i was very lucky and had the honor and privilege to meet on my way a very helpful, friendly and open people who achieved a lot and a very high position in the business world in the UK) i did listen to myself and my intuition during my work, and i always put my clients and people working for me first, and then myself.,( and also the people working for me knew that they could always talk to me even about their private matters and problems) , to this day people write emails to me on my business email asking for quotes and work.
Please , i would like to also mention that i often went to the park in the evening to listen to myself , music and to ask the universe for advice and guidance.
i really wish you good luck and success in your business, and i wish you a nice day ahead and evening, Please take care of yourself.Kind regards and best wishes. ♥️

Your local Chamber of Commerce might be a good port of call for advice @Manjinder or some banks offer support (don't know if it's specifically aimed at disabled people but might be worth looking at/asking the question) ie Barclays have a 'Life Skills' portal incorporating new business advice.
Also your local Jobcentre may be able to point you in the right direction for you. And of course, LinkedIn could be a suitable research source.
Not recommending them but just ideas for you to utilise as you see fit. Good luck!

Hi @Manjinder ,
Thank you very much for responding to me, and thank you for confirming that you have read the book by Tony Robbins, please i just would like to recommend you another book, maybe you could consider reading it and maybe it would be helpful - Jim Collins “ Good to great : Why Some Companies Make the Leap and Others Don’t “. Please i would like just add that from the position of a person who has achieved success in business and ran a VAT company i would like to add that i was quided by my heart and intuition in my work and always considering the satisfaction of my clients and the people working for me as priority as well as creating a strong team of people and respect for their work and for them as people.
i would like to wish you a nice morning and day today, please take care of yourself.
Kind regards and best wishes.1 -
