edited April 15 in Universal Credit (UC)

Hi.

I migrated to UC from ESA (WRAG pre 2017 group) and am also in receipt of PIP so I did have SDP.

Did my claim online, have been to the jobcentre and did my ID, confirmed my housing costs, and been into the Job centre for my 1st appointment. All my to do's are done. I was supposed to have a ststement on the 5th of April and payment on the 9th. Nothing has been done. I left a message on the journal about no statement. Ignored. Rang up - which is very difficult for me - and asked the UC adviser who couldn't really tell me anything, said she hadn't got really info. Said she's raise it with a case manager, which was put on my journal. I got a reply the following day saying they haven't completed task and I should bare with them. That was on the 9th. I politely asked on the journal if I could have an update - again ignored.

I do have an independent (from the DWP) employment support worker who has said esculate it to a manager - surely thats whats been done though? by the person on the phone who raised it with a case manager. The employment support worker has said to get back to her if nothing is done as they have a financial inclusion team who can help me.

I'm not sure how long to wait, or to put in a complaint. it's now 7 weeks with no payment. How do you esculate it? or have I done that already by it being forwarded to a case manager on the 9th?

I'm not sure how they expect you to pay rent and utilities. But whats worse is just the total lack of info.

I think you should put in a complaint because your payment is now significantly overdue. https://makeacomplaint.dwp.gov.uk/

Well I did put in a complaint and got a phone call 2 days later and the issue resolved. Something to do with housing but on their end was a payment blocker. After the phonecall I had the money in my account in 15 mins. Complaining certainly got them moving.
