Hi @anna73 though you may believe in these 'remedies' it is important that you don't attempt to advice other members in a medical way.  Thanks

You're still making no sense one bit.

If "illness build in your head", then why do many of us have incurable medical problems?

    Or illnesses caused by genetics?

Exactly. Most of my medical problems are genetic, incurable, caused by medication or are caused by injury / accident.

Hello I would like to make some comments.  I use medication prescribed to me by the doctors for my mental health.  Yet I agree you should never give medical advice unless you know it is true or has an effects on your well being.  I have recently talking about herbs and spices in my ramblings. The effects on well being that is the difference.  I read a lot on the web my piece on cyberphobia that I sent in.   I would never recommend to replace medication with a herb or a spice.  I am only too aware of the dangers.  In Indian and Chinese cultures herbal medicine and spices are used to help or a better word are believed to cure certain ailments.  The science behind this is becoming a interest to the medical profession.  I know and believe in some of the things I assist and ease my well being during my iilnesses that I have.  My anxiety and other mental health problems related conditions.  Which I have spoken about before.

    Interesting. Medicine in your head.

Certainly a PMA will not do you any harm
Beliving that the medicines that are prescibed (correctly) will do you no harm
Beliving that eating a healthy, well balanced diet  will do you no harm
Beliving that taking exercise, as apropriate, will do you no harm
Beliving ( and doing ) giving up harmful practices will do you know harm

These are all "medicine in your head" that will do you no harm.

Then there are many  "alternative medicines and treatments"
     Hypnotherapy
    Herbalism
    acupunture
    Reiki
    Meditation
    Chakra meditation
    mind over matter/body
and many more, none of which should be dismissed but due diligence should be undertaken

There are also many things that in certain cultures may be helpful ie.
Witchcraft, Voodoo, bloodletting, sacrfice, exorcism etc.

And finally there is mumbo jumbo and old wives tales

I guess that if you belive in something strongly enough it can have an effect.

Now my meds are kicking in not sure why I wrote this but I will post anyway.

I think anna73 is heading for a ban if this irresponsible behaviour continues.

Not only is it delusional nonsense but it is effectively victim blaming. We don't need that sort of toxicity here.

Not being a fluent English speaker nor potential mental health problems are any justification for permitting it either.

@Sam_Scope is on the case though
