Hi @gina399872 and welcome to the community. Bless you, it's completely understandable you're feeling anxious. I've added a few tags to your post which will hopefully help members of the community who have been through this transition to see it and add their advice.

It might also be worth contacting your local Contact us - Citizens Advice who can offer you some advice and support with the transition.

    Best wishes,

    Hi,

Your Housing Authority will have had many other claimants going through the Managed Migration. Most of them accept the small delay and don't expect tenants to pay any extra rent in the meantime, but it would be best if you could call yours and double check with them specifically.

You do not need a fit note because you were in the Support Group of ESA. This means you are automatically entitled to LCWRA from the start of the claim.

Applying for UC online is easiest for most of us, and gives you access to the online journal which makes it easier to manage in future as well. Some people prefer to do a telephone-only claim though, that is personal preference.

If you have a Driving Licence and a valid Passport then you can easily confirm your ID online using those. If you don't have both of those then you will need to provide ID another way. This is usually done with a Job Centre visit, but as that is not possible for you then you can ask for a home visit, or a biographical appointment to be done over the telephone.

Hope that helps. If there's anything else we can help with, please do ask.
