Advice and support about nurse training at university with disabilities

Hi, Looking for some help and advice …so I want to become a nurse with no qualifications. I am currently receiving UC and PIP.
I feel as if I have all the odds stacked against me… I will be about 55 when I qualify I have ADHD/autism a bad back arthritis in my hip and the start of arthritis in my hands.
Am I being ridiculous thinking this is achievable? I’m Not sure if I can get any financial support or support with my AuDHD to help me study. Or which route to take (eg mental health nurse)
Anyone else who’s been through similar situation can give me advice, thank you.

Hi @bunny09 and a warm welcome to the community😃
There is Disabled Students Helpline which may be helpful to contact as they can give you specific indepth information related to your situation.
Your PIP shouldn't be impacted by going to university as it is it not means tested but it is impossible that you UC may be impacted. There is also Disabled Students' Allowance that sounds like you would be entitled to as this is to cover the study-related costs you have because of a mental health problem, long-term illness or any other disability☺️
