Yeah... I don't think I can help you with that!
However, you certainly not the only person to sometimes feeling alone - and I hope the community can be a place for you to chat with others. A great place to start is our coffee lounge - which is a general chat area or you can see all recent discussions. -
Ok alex thanks. I need a handy man to fix cupboards that sort of this..is that a service your service provide..i also need my bathroom decorated..its only small and only half the room as above the bath and sides are tiled

Hi @jamesthomm
Afraid we don't provide a service like that. I've heard councils provide Disabled Facilities Grants, but I'm not sure exactly how it works.
@Debbie_Scope - do you have any ideas?
Thanks,
Alex

Hi @jamesthomm
Have you tried your local home improvement and handyperson service?
-
Hi @jamesthomm,
Welcome to the community.
Sorry to see that you're a bit lonely. Age UK has Befriending and Handy Person Services.
The Silver Line can put you in touch with local groups and offers regular friendship calls too.
Are you able to get out at all? I could look up some local groups or activities for you, just let me know which part of the country to search and i'll see if there's anything interesting going on in your area.
I hope that by joining our community you feel a little less lonely now. If you need further information please do come back and let me know.
Best wishes
Debbie
