I had the exactly same from my MP in Cornwall word for word.

I’m going to email starmer reeves Kendall Timms and rayner over the weekend. Obviously they don’t care about us but they need reminding by as many of us as possible that in 4 years time they’ll want our vote and we won’t forget, neither will our friends and family members.

I know just what you mean. All you can do is email MPs, Parliament, Councillors etc. They are all part of government themselves.
They are hardly impartial are they? Just that thought makes gets you down and they all merge into each other after a while.
We could do with a body of people to represent us at that level, who are completely independent of the government and on our side. If only.....

Ain't it just! To give the illusion of democracy when there is none.
They should be but the MOD will be too busy laughing all the way to the bank to take any notice of letters from us. 😡

Actually, if you don't hear from your MP a letter to your councillors is a good idea. First, they might have a hotline. Secondly, many will be bricking it at the prospect of the local elections.
Random thought. A letter the Chairman of your local Labour Party might help, too.

Shows how fake and controlled they are .

She doesn't sound too bad. You're right about her being back in opposition the next time. That's inevitable. My MPs a Tory and a "Sir." Needless to say he's worse than useless. 😳

There was a demonstration outside her offices and town hall last week so I think she’s for the cuts. I can’t remember exactly but she said something nasty about someone who flew the British flag a few years ago. She’s not popular. But I don’t know much about her . I’ll let you know if I hear back though I’m not expecting to .

Knowing the DPAC they will find a way to fight the government, even if they have to bide their time. Even in the worst scenario if these proposals become law, they will find a way to fight them, if they are unable to do anything about it before that.

Another comment on B and W forum was that the Green Paper will be challenged and that was always going to be the first port of call for action.
Labour know this and that's why they've kept the 4 Point PIP rule and Universal Credit changes away from consultation.

The Chair of the Local Labour Party. 🤔 That sounds a good idea. 👍

Yes, thanks, do let me know what she says. She sounded alright but it says a lot if she isn't generally popular, especially if it's about her supporting the cuts.
I'm still waiting for the knight of the realm to get back to me. I'll be lucky if I get a two line reply dismissing me, which is his usual style but I'll let you know what he says, IF I get a reply.

Sat here in tears tonight.
I've just about accepted the fact that when my pip review comes around next year I will be homeless.
I though about buying a tent and then the realisation hit me that I won't be able to assemble it due to my disabilities.
i will have nobody and nowhere to turn to.....so will just wait and hope that these proposals at least get watered down.

really ? Are they that good . I hope so . It’s hard to believe they’re allowed in law to discriminate against us like this . No risk assessment until after the vote , wow how is that being challenged. I’m sure ECHR has laws to protect us . Imagine any other group being treated like this , starved and left destitute

challenged by who ? In the courts ?
