PIP review paperwork arrived

90% finished my paperwork but the answers half as long as the original form I sent in and some of the questions seem designed to be deliberately awkward. Like the mixing with other people question. Unless you have someone to "help" you the only question you can answer is about help you have had and help going forwards.
The whole form was a pain

Yeah I found the questions different and harder to answer too @Ray212!! Have you heard anything about your review yet? I've had one text saying they're still looking but nothing else

I was wondering whether you'd heard anything yet. Feels like it's been longer than 3 months though. That is still shorter than average wait so far.

I received a text this morning that said this but nothing else
We still have your PIP form and will be progressing your review as soon as we can. You may still need an assessment with a health professional. Your PIP will continue to be paid until we review your claim. You only need to contact us if your circumstances change.2 -
I received a text saying my pip review is underway and that I will receive the form soon.
My current award expires August next year so I wasn't expecting it so soon.
I am going to request a paper based or telephone assessment and a longer length award.
I'm really dreading having to go through it again.

Have you had your form @luvpink??
I had a text this week saying my review is complete and to expect a letter within 2 weeks 😥
I know it means I've had paper based but it makes me even more anxious waiting as it's harder to ignore and more active waiting😕

I know that feeling! I've had a paper based as well, received the text on Wednesday, hopefully it went fine and it doesn't take 2 weeks for the letter to get here.
I hope everything went well with yours @Biblioklept

No, haven't heard anything, last thing I heard was that text. Might be a while before they get around to mine. Obviously looks like not getting paper based :/

Sorry @Ray212! Although mine did go back a bit before yours I think so maybe it'll happen soon?? Please keep me updated and I hope it works out well!!❤️

It's ok, I know there is a back log, just the waiting isn't it. Glad yours is sorted and must be a relief for you!

The waiting is the worst part, I hate the sitting not knowing. Even if it's bad news I'd rather just know and get on with it if, then sit wondering 😅
I hope you hear soon ❤️

Marvellous news @Biblioklept - I really am pleased for you, & it's good to see you posting today 😊Good luck @Ray212 hope you get the correct award too.

can l ask when you sent back your review form as sent mine back at October still nothing

I received the form in April and returned it early May.
I had the usual text from them but I don't expect to hear from them any time soon because my current award doesn't expire until September 2026

Excellent news! 😃
How long is the award this time?
1 -
Hey @Biblioklept I hope you're doing ok.
Sorry about the delay with responding, yes I did thankfully, they gave me the same award for 6 years (1 year extra) and they gave me 4 points in engaging after I moaned about them reducing the points from 8 to 2 with no real reason for doing it. They still didn't acknowledge other issues but I'll make sure to keep mentioning them in future reviews.

It was january but can't remember exactly when, I had a paper-based which I think are quicker, I hope you hear soon!! ❤️

5 years which will go quicker than I'd like but it's better than previous awards! How long was yours for??
Did you ever hear back from ESA/UC about your savings?? ❤️
1 -
5 years is still a decent length. 🙂 Mine was odd, it worked out as around 7 years and a few months, not sure how they came to that conclusion but it's far enough away for me not to even think about. I'll also be over 35 by then, so no longer need PIP to get the 1-bed rate of Housing Element, which was my main concern with losing PIP last time.
Still haven't heard anything at all from ESA about savings. Tbh I'd forgotten about it until reading this lol! Not sure if I will ever hear anything now. UC savings is sort of still ongoing, although I've got a busy month this month with considerable outgoings so that will reduce my savings for another few months at least.
