Received UC migration letter - how can I see UC claim questions before creating an account?

I've received the UC migration letter. I am currently on old style ESA.

Looking at the govt guidelines, it says that to start a UC claim, you need to create an account online. But, once you do that, you must submit your claim within 28 days.

As I have 3 months to submit my UC claim, I'd like that amount of time to mull over all of the questions first.

How can I see all of the UC claim questions in advance, before creating an account?

Thanks a lot for your help.

    Thanks a lot.

I tried using the dummy form - and went through both "paths" inside the form, which is a to-do list, and creating an account.

After finishing both parts, I couldn't see anything to do with telling the DWP about my health conditions. Is this something separate? If so, is there a dummy form for this to? That's the thing that I am interested in the most, because it's quite complicated, and I'd like to understand what questions I need to answer.

Back in 2018, when I last filled out an ESA form, I think it was called ESA50. Is there a UC50 equivalent form, and if so, is there a dummy version for this?

    Thanks a lot.

BTW, when I was filling out the dummy form, I said that I was already receiving ESA. I don't know, but perhaps that's why I didn't see anything to do with health questions?

There is a section on the UC application form that asks about health.

It is nowhere near as detailed as the ESA50 form.

    Thanks a lot.

So, it seems that migrating over from ESA to UC is quite straight forward, in terms of form filling. And I think it seems that doing this doesn't trigger a UC50 form to be sent. So, I guess I will receive a UC50 form when they decide to reassess me, which could be any time, not necessarily straight after the migration process has been carried out.

Good morning I hope your good.
I was just reading through your post as I’ve to migrate over to UC from ESA support group before July 2nd im so glad to read that you think it seems straight forward, as I’ve been stressing about it a lot.
So thanks for your post. 😊

    Hi

Not sure it is that straightforward

I’ve been helping my son with his application

He has been in the support group since 2018 and was told he never needed to undergo further medical assessments as he would never be fit to work

We filled in the form but nowhere did it ask about being in the support group

When it came to submission, he was asked to agree that he would have commitments and these would be discussed with his work coach ! He shouldn’t need a work coach …..

    Anyone else experiencing this?

    Many thanks

    Hi,

This is standard procedure. Everyone starts UC as a 'job seeker'. But for those migrating from ESA, their info will be linked across from ESA eventually and they get put into the LCWRA group of UC automatically.

It's very important that you do not provide a fit note, even if they ask for one. That just causes further issues down the line as it triggers an unnecessary work assessment.
