Ooh yes it did, then two men came to put cable back up along roof which had some wood attached (๐Ÿ™„), but they removed wood but left cable dangling saying someone else would come back to do that. Two days later 3 men came to check guttering attached properly. 2 days later a different 2 men came to reattach cabling. 2 days later ๐Ÿ™„ 2 different men came to clean the windows. Blimey, no wonder the council have no money. If I could get up ladders I could have done it all myself ๐Ÿคฃ. They have done a good job of it all tbh; lucky I suspected that the 2 or 3 days I was told it would be would be more like 2 or 3 months! My poor dogs were not happy. Thankfully all done now. Only noticed today that my (and everybody's) chimney has gone. That must have been what all the racket was about ha ha, can't believe I didn't notice it was quite a big chimney. I need to think of doing something to my garden like yours it looks so tranquil. I've several Buddhas inside my bungalow but nothing special outside, apart from the dogs' tunnel.

I love comedies incl some of the older ones Rising Damp etc.

Love 'Have I got news for you' and 'Would I lie to you' - especially in the latter Rob Bryden 'showering' to the Benny Hill theme music, was hilarious ๐Ÿ˜‚.

Ha ha, no I wasn't in to Val Doonicon. My mum stayed with me during 2020/Covid as took her out of her nursing home to keep her safe/take her for radiotherapy on her face/neck every day post-surgery, for 4 weeks at The Christie. We watched Steptoe and Son, the one where he jumped out of the grave and everyone was screaming. We were laughing so much neither of us could hardly breath it was SO funny. And Fawlty Towers where the mouse was loose and ended up in the biscuit tin. I don't think I've laughed like that since. Was trying to stop mum laughing cos of her wounds etc but there was no chance. My dogs were all looking at us as if we'd gone completely mad, they like laughter too ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿคฃ

I need to look up some comedy to watch it really is the very best medicine !! I hope you have a lovely day ๐Ÿ’— ๐Ÿ˜Š

Yes they do like sunbathing ha ha, I've just put some water in their little swimming pool. I stay in the shade mainly, I get too bored and too hot though after 15 mins, the sun's wasted on me ๐Ÿ™„. I'm thinking of doing something with my garden. It's a fair size, well c 70ft long/20ft the other way, and not overlooked. Yours looks very well established and not overlooked too. I m going to look on the gardening thread on here to get some ideas, but I've got to do it cheaply. I've only ever had courtyard style gardens before. Would like to grow rhubarb but I better not as it's poisonous for dogs.
