    @Albus_Scope

I don't know what is being said to me , apparently a comment of mine was deleted about seniors defending benefits. I know I never said it . I think 'WHAT THE ' has me mistaken for another poster .

No, sarah. I don't imagine things. I am well-grounded and truthful.

Albus has nicely asked us to draw a line under this.

Yes he has , but you need to post the comment you said I made about the senior citizens , this is being nice , and if you accuse me of something then i would like you to post it . If i said it then fair enough , but show me , thanks, or send me the post in a private message .

You may have mistaken me for another member , nothing wrong with that , but I assure I never said that and I cannot delete my own threads .

Just wanted to clarify that no, users cannot delete their own discussions or comments.
But I'd also like to point out we're able to see the edit history of peoples discussions and comments.

Now let's get back to the actual discussion. 😉

It's very strange how it's usually the same person being told to tone it down a bit!! They know who they are, I nearly came off this forum last month because of the argumentative nature of their comments, having to have the last word, and keeping the friction going on and on. Nearly every thread was about past policies from years ago, nothing realted to what's going on now, and an obsession with Ian-Duncan Smith, in fact they still go on about him now, youv'e told them before to calm it down, they won't listen, we'll see how long it is before they mention the above named person again!!

@charlie72 I'd please ask you to report any comments you feel are against community guidelines please. We can then deal with things away from the public eye. 😊

Has your MP replied to you and is she/he voting for the cuts ?

wow you’ve done so well Catherine. I’ve sent to the main suspects and rayner and starmer again.
It’s also a bit weird and I don’t want to sound a bit conspiracist here but my last review form went in about 2021 and the phone assessment was 2023. I just looked back and without knowing at the time I clearly had a 4 point descriptor. The assessor instead awarded 2 points when they’re supposed to score you the highest in you answer. The person helping me said at the time don’t worry about inconsistencies as I was increased from standard to enhanced but decreased to standard mobility ( which I got back at MT). At the time I couldn’t understand why I’d get lowered in mobility and get increased in care . I’m wondering if the 4 point rule was being thought about then . I’m sure it’s coincidental but I can’t help wondering 🤔

I have started a petition on Change.org to oppose the Pathways To Work Green Paper and a call to get it scrapped altogether.

noonebelieves, you wrote this - "The “Pathways to Work” proposals are not just tweaks to benefits. They represent a radical, brutal overhaul of the social contract between the state and disabled citizens."

No. It began on 1st April 2013.

Pathways to Work is now over 20 years old in the making.

Pathways to Work is 20+ years old.

    PTW will not be scrapped.

Ia*n Dunc*n Sm*th has nurtured these ideas in Parliament for the last 30 years.

I think the media are pushing this MH and neurodivergent narrative tbh . I’ve also read they’re concentrating on invisible conditions, arthritis etc . Unless they change it it’s supposed to be how the condition affects you . If you’ve been given a 4 point already which is hard to get ( I get enhanced but no 4 ) then I can’t see how they can remove it with no explanation. I think it’ll be harder for me as although I qualified on paper for a 4 next time I’ll have to fight for it . You have a 4 so they know you deserve it , I would try not to worry if you can . I emailed starmer this morning and said your policies are ruining the Labour Party, you need to show you care about the people and change this reforms especially the 4 points. I’d already told him my conditions and that even bed /house bound mostly I still didn’t get a 4 point as assessors don’t award them .

Its awful, I am so stressed as everyone are, I got 4 points in my first pip application that was turned down , then in 2023 I got awarded , but no 4 points and put the same condition down , my re-assessment is in now , I cannot sleep well , but this could take months to get a yes or no . My conditions are worse now and I also have hearing loss with hearing aids on it . I have to just wait and see . I forgot to ask for a phone assessment , but they will send an appointment if they are going to assess me again and then I will ring and ask for the phone assessment , it would make me really ill if I had to physically go and have a face to face, I've put i cannot look strangers in the eye and I hide behind dark glasses and a hand fan the spanish type .
