LCWRA first payment

Hi ,my sick note was submitted on Feb 4 2025.

I was awarded LCWRA today on the 30 th April.

My assesment period is the 9th till the 8th of each month and my payment day is the 15th.

Could someone kindly tell me when my first payment for LCWRA will be and if any backpay will be involved.

    Poppy is not currently active on the forum.

    LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods, from the date the first Fit Note was handed in. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.

    Assuming your Fit Notes were submitted without gaps (it's the date they are given to UC that counts - not the start date written on them) my estimate would be:

    January/February: Partial Assessment Period not counted for waiting period

    February/March: AP 1

    March/April: AP 2

    April/May: AP 3

    May/June: Eligible for LCWRA element

    June 15th: First LCWRA element paid.

    No backpay due.
