Hi I’m after some advice. I get care allowance and have just been sent a letter requesting money to be repaid for over payment of my CA 2023/24
so I informed them of my job and hours which were 13 1/2 a week. Taking me just over the £139 per week.
I was also getting universal credit.
which would take about £120 off of me a month for my earning.
I no CA is not connected to UC but my question is if UC were deducting money from my earnings then my actual pay was less than the £139 per week. So surely I should have still be entitled to CA. I work to get a break and some normality in my life and feel really let down.
I would appreciate any advice. Ty
