Hi,
I'm looking for age appropriate cause and effect Apps for my daughter to help her with fine motor skills. Her arms are stiff and hands fisted most of the times. We help her grab and touch toys. She can't roll/crawl/sit. Kicks very hard good with legs. Cognitively she is so clever she knows what she should be doing which is great.
Because of her greater interest in watching videos on tablet (for limited time). Her pediatrician and physiotherapist has suggested if we can encourage and help her to use cause and effect apps. It will be good for learning purposes plus help with fine motor skills. Off course we will continue to help her using hands to grab and reach out toys but on her last assessment we have been told that she has passed age of playing with rattle and it doesn't interest her anymore maybe.
Please I need some input from you to help me finding apps.
Warm Regards,
Zoe

Hi @steve51
Thank you so much!
We have kindle fire for our daughter. If I can install app on tablet it is better. I hope I got your question right!!
What options do we have in terms of operating system compatibility?
Warm Regards
Zoe -
Hi @zoe123
That's no problem at all.
I'm currently using a IPad using an Apple System.
Please let me know if you want me to find one for a different system.
So far I have found a number of the apps & there is 1 that looks ideal.
I'm very sorry if I am getting carried away !!!!
I worked in a NHS Rehab Centre for over 10yrs & we had lots of young children.
Folowing my Stroke at 32yrs old I have got lots of disabilities.
But I will always go with your decision at the end of the day.
I'm very sorry for going "on & on"
Please let me know which system you want me to go for ????

Hi @steve51
Please don't be sorry, I know you are trying to help your best. and thank you for that!
For now please go ahead with Android (Kindle Fire). We will see how it goes but later on at some stage we will get her Ipad. You can share apps for both IOS indeed if you don't mind. I have Iphone, I might install on it and help her play to see how it goes.
Thank you -
I have a three 1/2 year old and she loves pet doctor on the iPad, it's really helped her with her fine motor skills, she just watched her brother st 1st but has now mastered it, it takes her a while but the activities really make her have to think about how to move her hands/ fingers. She has multi brain abnormalities and the iPad really helps her development. Good luck :0)

Hi @zoe123
Don't worry it's my pleasure, I'm very sorry it took so long ????
Follwing my Stroke & numerous brain operations I have days off "Brain Fog" which knocks me off my feet.
I'm currently awaiting another Brain operation at some point soon.
Please let me know if you require any more as I have downloaded some extra ones for you ????
