LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods, from the date the first Fit Note was handed in. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.

What date did you report the health condition?

What date was your first Fit Note?

Were there any gaps in handing in Fit Notes, any that were backdated etc?

Do you claim with a partner who gets LCWRA, or have Transitional Protection on your claim?

Finally what is your UC assessment period or payment date?

    I'm a single person

    Claiming for myself.

I am pain up every 11 of the month.

    Thank you.

    My estimate:

January/February: Partial Assessment Period, not included for waiting period

    February/March: AP 1

    March/April: AP 2

    April/May: AP 3

    May/June: Eligible for LCWRA element.

June 11th: First LCWRA element paid.

If LCWRA is not on your May/June statement, they will owe you one month's LCWRA.

Money owed is calculated separately. You'll know when this has been done as a letter will be added to your Journal, stating the amount owed. Payment will then be sent within a few working days.
