Wife's pip assessment

Well my wife had her pip renewal assessment this morning it lasted 1 hour. Assessment was pleasant and at one time the assessor asked to allow for a moment to close the window as a new pup living next door to her was barking loudly.
All went well and we'll just have to wait now for word of pass or fail arriving.
Will post with news of that when it arrives.

Thats sounds positive , how long was your wife waiting for the assessment after sending back the form , is this a review or a re-assessment or first time pip application ?

Hello sarah_lea
She was waiting from last October. One week ago she got a text to say the reassessment would take place. I always thought they would send a letter out first but that did not arrive until the day before. There was no time for us to get any medical records from her Dr to the many medical visits she had to make over the last two years some within the space of days of each other.
But the assessor seemed ro be able to read these to the wife and ask about how they went what they were for etc.
I feel that the system called encompass /mycare has a lot to do with it now that has gone live here in NI.
PATIENTS DRS AND IM sure the gov are able to look at patients records.
Thank you for asking.
I'll post when results of this pip reassessment arrive…

HHello I promised id keep the community updated about my wifes pip. This morning she recieved a text drom pip informing her that a decision had been made and she would recieve a letter from them within the next 2 weeks.
Honestly this feels like youre in a cell on death row awaiting your time.
Why cant they just send an email or give the info in text. They can do everything else these ways.
Rant over lol ill update with full result hopefully its good news

Thanks for the update @masser. I can imagine, tender hooks now until you get the paperwork. Hopefully it comes sooner rather than later, and some good news. 🤞

ThThank you Holly_Scope
The nerves are building as the postman walks into the street.
WWhat makes it worse is the wifes brother was diagnosed with liver cancer and no chance of survival they are very close and with this review result pending the news of her brother and sleepless nights its hard sometimes to cope for her.
So fingers crossed at least one piece of good news arrives.
