Welfare cuts

Has anyone noticed that Stsrmer and the Cabinet keep on referring to 'working people' or 'hard working people' in statements and in the news. Starmerveven refers to 'working people' in his EU statement.
I think this is part of this govt's narrative, which suggests that you are only of value if you can work and undeserving if you can't. This is similar to the deserving and undeserving poor narrative promoted by the Tories.
This narrative needs to be challenged, along with the demonising of disabled and vulnerable people by this govt and the media to push through Labour's disgraceful welfare cuts.

no one works harder than an unpaid carer. They are heroes

I agree 100% with your comment! @Martinp

It also ignores those disabled people in work despite all the attempts to keep them out of it.
