New hear so apologies if I look a amateur.
I receive uc and have been work related limited capability FWork & fit notes began end of june 2024 to decision of assessment Feb 2025. Says im not to look 4 work but I to talk with coach for preparation to in future.
Question is do I receive back pay or anything other than my uc monthly pay. Im single claimant & get housing benefit too. Im unwell and quite stressed as it unclear of benefit

Hi @Brem really sorry for the delay in coming back to you. I think with the timing of the green paper release, a few discussions have slipped through the net.
When did you initially start the process by providing your work coach with the first fit note? Was it February 2025?

As you were awarded LCW then no extra money is paid.
Money is only paid if you were found to have LCWRA.
You need to meet one of these descriptors.
You can appeal the decision, the time frame is 13 months although if you appeal later than 1 month they will probably ask why you are appealing "late"
