Early computer games

Who remembers when "Doom" was available on Floppy disk ?
I used to play it in 1995 ish on a MONO screened laptop - it ran the whole game from a 1.4Mb single floppy disk !!
Mind you - the Laptop only had a 240Mb hard disk with 1Mb RAM !

I never played Doom back in the day, but I remember the floppy disks, I had an Atari ST.
I also remember the older bigger floppy disks which were actually floppy, and loading games from cassette.
I did play Doom and Doom 2 on the PS3, and Doom 3 on the original Xbox around a year ago, I like all of them.

Head Over Heels on the Amstrad PCW 256K. The machine had a green monitor!
In the 1980s, my best pal, his dad was an academic at the university, he had an office (broom cupboard) with said Amstrad in it. I loved it.
I was just remarking the other day, that this pal's dad was talking about climate change then, and it all sounded so fanciful.
He drove a VW Polo Formel E. This was decades before other cars had the start/stop feature when the car was stationary. It even told you when to change gear (3 forward gears and the E overdrive).

The first video game I ever played was Lemmings in 1995 at an after-school computer club, running on a PC using a 3½-inch floppy disk.

I remember the old good Doom. I had it on pc processor either
@I remember the old Doom but i remember I had it 3.5 disks. On a 8086 or 8088 or 286 processor laptop. I think the first Doom I played as a kid but new Dooms have better graphics but not the same when you play them. What you think?
