I’m in ESA support group
my key worker at my supported living suggested I could do paid work under 16 hours which is fine but I’m worried about UC part as I’m in LWRCA group. I’m not sure if it is my best interest as they could pull me up for a reassessment and I’m worried that I would become ill again unnecessary. What would anyone suggest I do?
Thanks for any advice.

Hi @sashtom79, that's a tough decision to make.
Do you know what kind of work you'd be doing? Perhaps you could start small with just a few hours to see how you get on.
If you feel it might contradict the reasons that you're in the LCWRA group, that can sometimes become a problem if your claim is reviewed. But as LCWRA has no commitments attached, if you did become ill again after trying work for a little while you'd be able to stop and shouldn't have any issues.
I hope the community can share some of their experiences to help you decide ☺️

Hi,
Thanks for your comment, I was thinking of doing administration or helping people on benefits back into work as that is what I used to do for 15 years before I became ill. I have Schizoaffective disorder and I’m severely deaf.yes hopefully people in the community can share their experiences with work and the benefits system. Thanks Sasha
