pip was due to end June sent review in November just got a letter this morning saying award has been extended to June 2026,but are some people receiving texts than letters of extensions? And what’s been everyone’s out come once they have been reviewed please

Hi,
This is normal now. They extend the old PIP award by 12 months if a decision hasn't been made by around 1 month before the end date.
The extension is done automatically. It doesn't indicate any sort of timescale, you could get the decision tomorrow, or next month, or next year.
Your new award could stay the same, or increase, or decrease. My award was increased to include Standard Mobility at the most recent review, just for reference.

it’s just a waiting game again,also doesn’t help with what’s allover social media and news about people losing their pip,so it’s a worry as this helps so much x
