You're right. 😳 I think in the scheme of things that no one is likely to think anything of it. It's near enough to the correct name so anyone who notices it will know who the author is anyway.

People used to talk about class envy. Now we have benefits envy.

I think my first post on these forums was to do with my absolute terror of PIP being means-tested.

I'm not rich. I inherited some capital that took me some way over the £16K limit for means-tested benefits, free prescriptions, dental care, etc, to which I'd previously been eligible.

I lost all income-related help and pay a small amount of income tax.

I live alone without family support on PIP, Support-Group CB-ESA ( that is set to be abolished), and falling interest from savings. I've been disabled most of my life. There's no private pension coming up. I exist on a minute sum. If PIP were means-tested I couldn't survive for long until I became eligible for means-tested benefits all over again.

PIP has nothing to do with employment status or wealth. Similarly, DLA is paid to wealthy parents of disabled children, and AA to people who develop disabilities in retirement. No to means-testing!

I know. Their gaslighting wore thin quite a while ago.

I don't think that they thought that they would have to keep repeating all those lies for so long as they must have just expected us to just roll over and accept our fate.

Not this time, because now we are having to fight for our survival. ✊

They must really have to work at their speeches now as they must be so aware of how much the people who are forced to sit through them must be able to see through every word they're saying. 🤭

I can imagine Loathesome Liz losing it big time behind the scenes, about all this. She should be the one losing her head together with Starmer, Reeves and Timms for treason against Disabled British People. 🇬🇧

You can see how they stutter when questioned, tying themselves into knots. They need to cut pip to get us into work when you can claim pip and work . Then they need to cut the welfare bill as it’s growing too fast , then there’s rumours of scrapping the two child limit which apparently will cost them exactly what they’ll be taking from us . I’m sure they wake up every day and think what plan can we come up with today .

I bet that the people in the care system that give them that care must hate not being able to do more for them. The disabled people's stories in that article were particularly upsetting, I thought.

That's how it should be though, to really get over to people what's really happening. It is a national disgrace. 😱

The "rich" can claim CB-ESA like me though I'm not "rich". I own a very modest home in a not-nice area. I'm set to lose CB-ESA if the proposals become law. I really don't know how I'll manage. There are a few people on these forums fearful of this forgotten "reform".

You can see that they are they are so unsure of themselves. Reeves always goes pale and Loathsome Liz's eyes go black with fury.

What they say is so contradictory and has nothing at all to do with our lived experience in the real world.

They have been trying to mislead everyone for so long that I think that they lost the connection that their lies had to each other long ago. 🙄

They are clutching at straws and they know that everyone they talk to knows it too.

The photo of reeves and the bags under her eyes , clearly up all night worrying about the mess she’d made of everything. It seems like a labour thing to have black beady eyes . Starmer is definitely the king rat.
