Not sure what SDP is I just need toake sure I don't lose the payment that I have moving over to UC from ESA income related support group as it helps with my day to day living & the equipment & items I need to for me to carry on to have a normal life as I just manage what Im given , I don't want to drop in payment to struggle to find my illness needs at it is

Sorry I forgot to mention to overly anxious that I was receiving housing benefit when on eas income related support group, but when I got my migration notice it stated my housing benefit & ESA would end on the deadline 29th may ( tomorrow ) but I've been so ill with other problem with illness back & forth to appointment to get some of the problems that occurred my daughter only applied the migration notice on 20th may 9 days before the deadline , so that's why I was concerned about it I still get the transition top up payment when daughter applied for me , as we did the UC migration notice on the 20th may but as I have to wait for the id check home visit , I wasn't sure if applies when daughter put in the migration notice to UC on 20th may or does it start when id check done , which means it will pass the deadline as they told me & daughter it will take weeks to get a home visit , but that unfair as then I will miss out , due to rely on others iny day to day life , I get we get 3 months but I've had other appointments with hospitals to deal with & illness to cope with , it's become stressful not just for me but my daughter who works full time & cares for me & sister who off sick with mental health issues too , I just don't want us to get my application wrong due to the struggles in dealing with illness at moment

    There are two different deadlines.

The first one is to submit the UC claim before the date on the migration letter. You have completed that part. Your ESA & HB should end on that deadline automatically even if the UC claim hasn't been completed.

The next deadline is that the ID has to be verified within one month of submitting the claim. I am not sure how automated this part is. I have seen claims closed because ID wasn't verified in time.

I understand and appreciate that the delay is due to your conditions, but the automatic systems don't know that. In the worst case scenario, if it does get closed, you will be able to appeal that and explain why there was a delay to a person instead of an automated system.

We are not expecting any Transitional Protection in your case, because you will already be better off on UC, so even if you had to start a brand new UC claim, you would not be worse off.

Only reason I mention it as it stated ony migration notice I would qualified for it , if my UC did not make up my legacy payment , but my daughter applied for UC on 20th may , & they have stated on my journey they applied for a id check home visit , I'm just awaiting a call to arrange a visit , , but the 1st deadline is tomorrow 29th may , so I'm confused as the migration notice states one thing & I'm told different , this has become very stressful not just to me but daughter that deals with working , & looking after me but her younger sister that's also off work & on UC due to mental health issues , I do appreciate yours & Kimi advice , but it's very confusing , hence why my daughter has took the reigns in my day to day life , but she new to this too as not had to deal with benefits just my own benefits , very confusing

The migration letters are standard letters which don't cover every eventuality.

As OA & I have advised you do not qualify for any Transitional Protection payment.

Transitional Protection is added only if you would be worse off on UC compared to legacy benefits.

You will be better off on UC so do not qualify for any Transitional Protection payment.

There is still the issue that daughter applied for UC on behalf of me on 20th may in the timeline & there is a delay on a id check home visit that can end my claim , due to no fault of my own as daughter put the claim in before 29th may

That isn't really an issue. The claim was submitted before the deadline of May 29th.

The ID check deadline will now be around June 20th, one month after the claim was submitted.
