Going abroad
Hi all
if one is on disability benefits, how often is one allowed to go abroad in a year for a month at a time.

Hi @Tinabella - if you're just claiming PIP, you can go abroad for 13 weeks at any one time.
With UC it's a month (usually regarded as 30 days), tho the day you leave & arrive back in the UK don't count if you don't have any work or other committments.
With ESA it's stated as being 4 weeks.
You can go abroad for these time periods as often as you want in a year.

Thank you kindly for coming back to me, so if I get both UC and PIP, can I go abroad numerous times during the year up to one month only, which is 30 days excluding leaving the day and day coming back?
