Hi,
Are you getting an ESA payment of exactly £281.10 each fortnight?
If yes, your old ESA was partly Contributions Based. In this case, the Income Related part gets migrated to UC, and the Contributions Based part gets replaced with New Style ESA. The NS ESA gets deducted from UC each month so it doesn't make any difference financially.
If this is not the case and you are getting ESA at a different rate then that is caused by an error and will need to be reported as you'll be getting overpaid. They will need to claim any overpayments back so that needs to be sorted asap.

Hi,
New Style ESA is a fixed payment of £281.10. I haven't seen it affected by past ESA budgeting loans so far, but I don't know how many people used those.
Is there a deduction showing on your UC statement for ESA?
