I would love to do something like Zumba. My youngest daughter does pilates, and has started to run (only 2.5 km so far but that's a good place to start).

Ha ha, very funny! I believe you knew what I meant?
Drinking alcohol is not a great idea when you have a muscle wasting disease. I fall down alot as it is. Turning 50 was the ideal time to call it a day.

I don’t know your situation but the Zumba I do on a Sunday is on zoom - live-streamed from Pineapple dance studio. I struggle with groups of people but dancing round my lounge works for me

Pretending it's not another Father's Day without my dad. It's the 7th father's day without my dad and it gets harder every year.
I even struggle with mother's day even though I've still got my mum, my nanna who is my late dad's late mum is no longer with us.
My mum used to buy a Mother's Day card that read something like "Happy Mother's Day to a special nanna" from me, my two sisters and our brother.
I remember one year my mum bought two framed poems which both read "A Mother's Heart is like a rose always open always loving."
She bought one for herself from me, my two sisters and our brother and she bought the other for my nanna from my dad.
