That behemoth looks more like the ATVs that hill farmers use!

All the Q700s, they can only 'safely' tackle a 6 degree slope. The Q500 R can handle 10 degrees; that would be the one I would need.
I still think the castors on the mid wheel machines would be a problem outside. Less than 600 mm turning radius is amazing, but I suppose 900 odd mm is acceptable for rear wheel outdoor abilities.

I used to operate a Caterpillar D6 bulldozer. That is my preference and who needs walls anyway?

Looks great, mate, but i prefer more conventional. They are also very expensive and i doubt my old man would stump up for something he thought was unnecessary.
To me, just bloomin well spend your money, as they can't take it with ! Their money though, and i have to respect their rules if I want help.

I would never beg, certainly not for mere filthy lucre. If I ask for help, it is only if I am really stuck.
I could batter my credit card but might not live long enough to repay it! ( Told my daughters that I am leaving them my Barclaycard debt in my will).

Re slopes, one route I take has different degree short entrance slopes that I have to cross & I find if you drive across steering slightly up them, all is good. I do have to hold on with my left arm though, to keep me upright. ๐ I have a lightweight fold up electric, I hate with a passion as it's so unstable, carp on drop kerbs & turning, but goes into a car boot. I tried that route once, did the same with that on a lower one & I ended up in the road, luckily in a parking lane, not in the two busy lanes going into the city. Once I got over the shock, I turned around & went home.
For the money you will be paying out, you really need to try each one & see what you prefer, most have a slope somewhere nearby that you can try them on.

Very roughly, the wheel's cross-country ability is equal to half its radius.
Ignoring this fact leads to failures

I have just returned my car to them, and not for the first time. I discounted that straight away.

Think I should get OT assessment first. I might even try to self propel an NHS special, if it is just for in the house.
