Thank you, ah, I recall your post now. I am truly glad they were really their for you - and it sounds in a major way. The big hospital some distance away (c 40 miles in my home city) I've only known amazing care, and how they cared so well for my parents too, constantly over the years and that I will never forget. I'm sorry as I don't want to scare people with what I said as whilst I know it's not the 'norm' for most patients, I've just lost trust because of my experiences their.
Funny enough, I've got double pnuemonia again (that's not the funny bit ๐๐), rang the integrated respiratory team (same Trust as the hospital I won't go to) on Sat for help but gp not sent urgent referral yet. Anyway respiratory nurse was amazing, ringing me back /advice/checking if availability on the 'Virtual Ward' , there wasn't but she was able to access my GP record and I had to promise I'd go to hospital if I didn't improve. Oxygen stayed up around the 88% now consistently since yesterday evening so I think I'm out of the woods now or at least going the right way. So there are too very good, caring staff too.
I had to remind myself yesterday that just because I'm a nurse, I don't know everything and need to seek and accept help sometimes, especially when its bordering on very acute! This Community is quite amazing really as it's comments @Bluebell21 (thank you Bluebell) made that helped shift my mindset โค๏ธ.

Hi @Santosha12 I am glad you have improved slightly and it looks as if you are heading in the right direction. Fingers crossed.
Our minds have such a powerful impact on our physical health, and sometimes we need to talk ourselves into taking positive action.
I hope you have a good day.
Please take care of yourself.

Had to drag my sorry backside off the settee to GP yesterday afternoon/insisted on seeing me. Glad I did as another lot of antibiotics and steroids, x-ray this am and the integrated respiratory nurse coming to see me this week apparently. Feeling very looked after and grateful ๐.

Good morning @Santosha12 Well done for taking that first step and getting the help you needed. We tend to think we can do everything ourselves because sometime it is just too much trouble to get the help we need. Another reason is it is not always available. I am glad your doctor gave you some more antibiotics and arranged the x ray for you. Please let us know how you get on. I hope your furry friends are helping to look after you as they usually know when we are unwell.
Please take care of yourself. โค๏ธ
I had best go and feed my little fur ball as the noise he is making you would think he had not been fed for a week.

He was 2kg @Santosha12 he has grown a lot. Not fat but the vet said he is long and got long legs. He does like food though and squeaks and sit by the cupboard where his food is when he is hungry. He is 18 weeks old now. ๐

Aaww how very, very sweet. He's a very lucky little cat (always longed myself for a long body and long legs ๐ ). Nice weight, he's obviously thriving which is lovely โค๏ธ.
