LCW to LCWRA

Hi all, first post here...

I am on LCW but informed UC that my health had got worse and they sent me forms for a reassessment to see if I qualify for LCWRA . They said that I did not need to provide fit notes as I was already on LCW.

This was in December. I am still waiting to be reassessed.

My question is, if I do get LCWRA when I am reassessed, will I get any back payments for the month's that I've been waiting?

    No, I went from LCW to LCWRA. It will just change to LCWRA on your next payment, you won't be owed anything

    Hey there @Becca37 and welcome to the community!

    If it's not a mandatory reassessment and you're swapped over to LCWRA, you may receive backpay from when you asked for the reassessment. But LCWRA is a bit odd and some people get back pay, others don't. Fingers crossed you do!
