in Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)

hi I applied for ESA march 4th. Payments started then. Since I’ve been waiting to hear for my assesment. I’ve sent my UC50 back in april. Does anyone know how long I’ll be waiting for it? Roughly? Do I need to ring and ask for it? New to all this…

    Hi @cw1234 I applied for new style ESA so I’m not sure if it goes to the same people but it was about two months before I heard back from them since I had sent in my completed form. They sent me a letter informing me that a telephone assessment had been arranged for me. Before that I didn’t get an acknowledgment of receipt of my form or anything.

    Hope you hear soon. It seems there are long waits for all of this as I was told by my assessor it would be 6 weeks before I would hear about my decision

    Thankyou for your reply. I’m just on the phone to them now as they keep sending me strange letters saying my situation has changed? I haven’t spoken to them or sent anything besides april3rd this is the 4th time they’ve sent a letter and nobody can tell me why? It’s all so confusing I wish it was straight forward xx
