Work Place Help

I work in an office / warehouse environment somewhere that isn't accessible to the public. Although we do have disabled toilets, I have raised "official" concerns with my H+S department where they were dismissed.
The two main areas that are of concern and i realise that they may sound cliche, but its the red pull cord and storing of cleaning materials in the disabled toilet.
I should note I dont have any mobility issues, however i dont think that should stop me from looking out for others.
The red pull cord, if its not tied up, also doesn't reach the floor, i would say its at least a meter off the ground.
I have mentioned to them that these are a legal requirement as part of PART M , there response is that this doesn't apply.
There answer for some of what i require the bare minimum is that "we dont have any disabled members of staff so we dont have to worry about it" However I do believe some things are legal requirements regardless.
Anyone that can point me in the right direction of evidence, proof, help? would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @granty1988 that's a tough situation, especially if you've formally raised this with the relevant department. Is there another route you could use to escalate this within your organisation? Alternatively, you could raise concerns externally with HSE - Tell us about a health and safety issue - Contact HSE.
