Yes it passed but we can still keep campaigning to reverse it and and between and at general elections, to reverse the changes. And make any govt of the day elderly and disabled friendly.

Remember there were delays, concessions, and the population is rapidly ageing with with more elderly and disabled voters.

NEVER GIVE UP, IF AT FIRST YOU DONT SUCCEED…

Welfare reform bill is 'rushed' - Badenoch

    Live Reporting

Edited by Alex Smith and Matt Spivey, with Brian Wheeler reporting from the House of Commons

    1. Just after the vote, shadow work and pensions minister Helen Whately asks the Speaker if the bill should still be "rushed through" to be debated next week at committee stage, or be withdrawn by the government entirely. She says the bill was "ripped apart in front of our eyes" this afternoon, calling it a "shambles".The Speaker says scheduling is a matter of the government, not the chair.

So, the UC and PIP Bill has been passed, with great damage to Starmer.

The abolition of winter fuel payments was passed …

and reversed by Grey Power/11 million pensioner voters.,

We can do the same reverse it…

not success of failure but the courage to continue.

it’s not passed, yet. There will be another vote next Wednesday. If the speaker doesn’t designate it as a money bill next week, the Lords will then be able to push for amendments and hold it up. Only when both houses have passed it, can it be signed into law.

The fightback continues. We've got this. Every MP that has voted this bill through will be seeking alternative employment come the next GE. The electorate will not forget. Labour have lost the next GE on this.

See they won't go through with the vote. As obviously would lose I'm sick of these incompetent psychological abusers so does this mean they won't vote today or thier hoping it will be enough to get it through

well if they just accepted the u turn that new claimants only would be affected then we wouldn't be back to square 1. Benefits rules change and I wasn't able to claim old style esa but had to claim UC and the health element , but now the bill has been passed and we are tortured again with the anxiety of not knowing , maybe to try and kill a few more of us off .

I think they still have a blank cheque to do what they want after Timms review on assessments, activities and descriptors. But the bill isn’t final yet. MP’s are seemingly demanding more detail on the review before next weeks third reading and vote.

Still hope the speaker won’t let this sail through as a money bill next week, too. If he doesn’t designate it a money bill, the Lords can put a ton of scrutiny on every line in the bill if they want, and effectively force amendments.

So July 9th next week is when the third reading happens, short debate and then vote.

we were okay until the MP's wanted more so now we are punished , they passed it and its what they wanted . Simms will review it and then we will all need to get four points , just as they wanted .

Yes seemed to go ok, nice assessor, made me at ease, couldn't understand a few questions even though simple questions.
