This seems unfair !
Surely MPs opinions can differ from PM, They are there for the people they represent. To suspended them who disagrees with him ,seems a dictorship.

Unbelievable isn't it? Starmer does seem like a dictator, there's what you've mentioned and then there's the fact he's had people jailed for online comments, and how he's made it so the DWP will be able to spy on our bank accounts.

It's terrible, getting like 1984 under his rule.

I'd like to know why just those 4. Surely if it's because of their vote he should remove the whip from all the mps that said no.

Not all mps have the whip and they had it removed because they failed in there job to secure the vote from the ones who voted against the policy

Don't forget starmer also suspended those who protest against the removal of 2 child cap. Like John Mcdonnell and Zarah Sultana.

And both those had the whip did they not it's not the whips job to cause friction in the party

The previous government often removed the whip from those who weren't towing the party line, it's a fairly normal part of politics to be fair.
