Hi, my name is Granddad100! Does my wife's savings affect my pension credit?

Hello all

I receive PIP and have some savings my wife has some saving also in her name does this affect my pension credits as we receive a joint government pension and the total of both it puts us above the 6000 limit , any advise gratefully received
