PIP not recieved and my card changes

Hi personally had this benefit for since atleast five years and now payment getting to a much needed time of month but, recently I played into a scam link, "pay here to collect youre parcel delivery " and then was advised to change my debit everday account. My new card arrived two weeks ago and has only the exp date and 16 digit number that different and new. So basically that's the reason and I assume the PIP hasnt had my updated account for recipient? Even though I had UC fine since and atleast that has something to access online at all anyway. Anyone know what could be up? Possibly that there is a cut off or review applied to "me"? And if anyone could help please do I go contact the bank or the dwp/pip number about this? And is any such missed benefit payment seen as a default or missed chance because of any complicated inability to provide my reason or proof, like would today's payment be coming and what time is involved? Thanks ?

    Hi @aliam23

Sorry to hear about the scam situation, that sounds really frustrating.

It sounds like your PIP payments might be delayed because your bank details changed and the DWP hasn’t been updated yet.

Have you had a chance to check with your bank that your new account is all set up and safe? And have you reached out to the PIP helpline to update your payment details yet? It’s a good idea to do both soon to help get everything sorted!

Usually, any missed payments will be backdated once your details are corrected so you shouldn’t lose out😊

Have indeed checked the account today and it was recieved - lately i have been underestimating the date and amount for the benefit and how important it is(I don’t know what that says about people/claimant in today’s world) Inhave also since tried to remove my posts and sent Scope an email, it does not let me

    Thanks
