6 weeks ago i requested an adaptation because ive nowere adiqate to bath,im a DV suvivor so moveing to a more suitable acomadation is not an opption,loads of oversites,refused an OT visit befor i had a chance to request one as the OT report was flawd crustial missing information,a suvayors report complieted on a flawd OT report i was dinied any input my wishes and concerns ignored and verble direct disibility discrimination not once but 3 times in my own home and a data breach ive submitted 2 formal complaints 1 to the director of the OTs company and 1 to the council ive asked for the more sutible adaptation that i said would meet my current needs and futchure needs do you think tha council will rectify this by giveing the adaptation i asked for all along, ive been clearly discriminate against not allowed any input and refused reasonable ajustments im back to sqare one with nowere adiqately to bath how long should i give the council to reply with the outcome plz

Hi Wazza57. Above all a bit confusing. DV is domestic Violence? Are you disabled in any other way? DV only qualifies you for sympathy little else I’m suspect. Do you own your home? Or rent from HA, council or private landlord? Who organised an OT report & potential visit? Your GP? Bit confused about reference to Surveyors report? Who requested that ? The Council will only be interested if you are disabled. Ditto HA or private landlord. I got attention from OT via my GP but I’m disabled and own my place. Even if you rent from Council, unless you are disabled they won’t help to adapt bathroom/bath. They have too many other calls ( for money) from them. Not sure why you feel discriminated against. Can you explain?
