Just got letter today, its got to done by Nov 7th. Do I need a fit note if I'm migratiing. ? With the rent does that cover it and it takes a few weeks do i have to find the money. When do I let housing association know about it.

What things do I need ? , I'm getting help applying. I'm reapplying for my citizens pass card as haven't got passport or driving licence. Is it better for me to pay the rent or them , and my daughter is starting university she's on pip will it affect my money.

No you don't need a Fit Note.

Your Housing Element will be paid about 5 weeks after applying, one month in arrears.

With the hb run on that will leave your rent account 3 weeks in arrears. You'll need to speak to your landlord to see what arrangement they want to make. I paid it myself as it was easier and I was able to do so.

Some landlords offer a payment plan to clear the arrears a little at a time.

Once any arrears are paid each UC payment puts your rent account one month into credit.

It's up to you whether you pay rent or ask UC to do it.

If you get Daily Living PIP no non dependant deductions will be made to your Housing Element.

In terms of bedroom allowance it would depend on your Daughter's residential status while at University.

Universal Credit won't pay your council tax. This is separate from UC,

No Council Tax Reduction is separate, paid by local authorities and each local authority has different rules.

Some treat UC differently to legacy benefits and some people have seen an increase in the amount they need to pay towards CT.

Because each local authority has different rules it's not possible to advise on individual cases from here.

Sorry to ask again, I use PayPal to pay for some things. I haven't got any money in the account. How do you get a statement. Also is your work coach from your local jobcentre? Mines shut at the moment, ( roof fell in , in Feb) so it's done by phone I think.
