Thank You 💚

Been a quiet day, came close to calling an ambulance due to my O2 Sat being at 88% this morning, bile reflux closes the throat up and wakes me up. Thankfully the two inhalers helped out and I ended up going back to sleep. The Whiskey Barrels arrived today, can certainly they smell of Whiskey 🥃 some plants have arrived, the lights and slate chipping. Hopefully the inner gardener in me comes alive again.

I've had a good day watching bowls overlooking the sea in the sunshine and chatting to friends.

I’ll admit, one thing I don’t miss is cutting bowling greens

Evening all. Not particularly ok. I am ok until I am not . That is normally after I am back home and I am on my own.. hopefully tomorrow I will feel better. Monday is bank holiday so I have to find something to do instead of staying at home.... Until tomorrow.

just keep yourself safe, just remember even though your having a bad time, your still breathing and fighting which is a huge win 💚

When we were young on a Friday night we went out on the town, not in my case though 😂 was my worst nightmare!
Now my Friday nights are spent watching tv - sometimes with murders!
but the highlight of the night is always organising all of the next weeks meds, alongside double checking the PRN Meds as well.it’s sobering as you pop each tablet out into the box and think to myself, that up to five years ago I was only on two meds. Now I rattle every time I move! Or should I say squeak with the old joints.
I’m a stubborn old man (yes I’m 42) but I feel more like I’m 82 at times. I’ve been fighting since 1983 and always refuse to give up, no matter how dark it gets.
At times my brain can be like the Somme, Bannockburn, Battle Of Bosworth, Jutland, D-Day, El Alamein etc at the best of times. But I just remember my roots, the loved ones I had that were strong people and inspire me each and every day.0 -
Thank you. Now watching TV. But soon I will be going to sleep. I will try to relax and tomorrow I will go out. I hope for good weather .... But it is hard to carry on sometime..

I agree, keeping going when we are faced with such darkness and adversity all the time is brutal, tiring and is very lonely.

Got powerchair yesterday, not long back from first 6.5 miles with Gus (Floors are going to be a whole lot dirtier from now on).

Sorry I've not been online Catherine/not very well. Have been thinking of you and little Fifi. I'm sorry she's struggled since her op. My Natalie-Tiffany did struggle for 2 to 3 days last year. She'd also had c 10 teeth out (not bad re plaque) but cracked teeth they found during op. She was under anaesthetic for just over 1.5 hrs, she's 8 now. I'd tried to encourage her to drink to get her liver metabolising the drugs out of system but she didn't much/couldn't force her. I think it's just a natural process and time, and rest. I've not let my other two dogs have there's done because of her reaction to the anaesthetic, their teethlings aren't bad (no discomfort). I hope she picks up soon and then feels much better having had them done. Take good care of yourself too, sending hugs to you and Fifi xx

I've been meaning to write a message to you, but often procrastinate (ADHD, etc), but I hope it's ok to send you a PM at some point in the near future
r.e. the whisky barrels… are you sure they haven't just been used as planters already, and you're mistaking it for the smell of Laphroaig or Ardbeg?? 😂

Good morning
Its another beautiful day here and I am going out later to enjoy the sunshine overlooking the sea.
I'm not looking forward to the crowds of random rowdy tourists but hopefully things will start to gradually get quieter here and we will have the place to our selves again.
This years holiday season has been so full on and unfortunately we have had to endure drunken anti social behavior and people and kids disrespecting our town.

Morning folks! Happy weekend. Anyone have anything exciting planned?
@Grumpy1314 I'm afraid I've had to remove your images as they contained your personal information. Also unfortunately, due to the Online Safety Act, we need to be very careful with talk or images of drug use, legal or otherwise. Just a heads up there. 😁
@Santosha12 Staff only work between 10am and 6pm, and one of the first things we do is let the comments and discussions free that've been caught in the spam filter, so fear not. 😊
@Catherine21 I hope you're feeling a bit better today and the little one isn't in too much pain. I think you'd have been more scared of the previous governments if you were keeping a close eye on them too, I know I was haha. I hope things calm down for you soon.
@luvpink "grockle season" is never fun, but hopefully you've found some nice, quiet spots only locals know about. 😉
