Is there any treatment for autonomic peripheral neuropathy?

Having been diagnosed with autonomic peripheral neuropathy, when my feet had gone numb, I am wondering is there any kind of treatment or care, that I should be given or offered, from my healthcare provider? It is apparent that I am being left to get on with it, as, when I report symptoms, they are played down, or ignored. My GP was seeing me regularly, then said, he would be in touch, at my last appointment, almost 3 months ago. My legs have become much weaker, I get out of breath and run out of energy much sooner, than I did a few months ago. I'm wondering is it now policy to leave older patients, just to progress, rather than try to improve their quality of life? As I am 80 years old, this is quite relevant to me.

Heya @Marian2 and a warm welcome to the community. 😁
I hope you don't mind, but I've split your question off into its own discussion, as the previous one was from 2021 and the users have not been active in years, so I didn't want your question getting lost. I hope that's ok?
I've had a quick look online and found this which may be of some use to you? I'm afraid I don't know a huge deal about APN myself.0
