Pip Review

I was sent forms to fill in back in March filled them out and sent off 3rd week of March.
my pip claim comes to an end in October (doesn’t say date just October) and I’ve heard nothing back from them is this normal ? I assume September is my last payment then I think it stops or maybe not.
What’s the time frame roughly at the moment I know there is a massive backlog but no idea how massive.

If a decision hasn't been made, 35 days before your award is due to end a letter will be sent extending your end date by one year.
The decision on your review then overrides that new end date.
