Should I be concerned!
hi all
Like many I have just gone through a pip review and my experience was weird to say the least.
So my pip assessment happened in early Aug and lasted over 2 hours the assessor was talking over me a lot or inbetween telling me to take a break as I was a complete mess.
After the assessment and me thinking ok well not to bad and I could be hopeful I got a text message literally 26 mins after the assessment saying that DWP had my report !!! As you can imagine my head was a shed and immediately called them to see if this was a mistake how could she do the report that quick ! Turns out it was all done and I requested a copy as clearly I expected bad things or as many would say lots of zeros finally got the report and to my amazement if DWP agree with the report things would improve as I scored 14 on daily living and 14 on mobility something I didn’t get last time so I started to breath easier only to get a weird out of the blue letter ! 3 weeks after they got the report saying they now had all the info to make a decision and to wait.
So should I be concerned if they had the report and medical evidence early in Aug and text message was your hear in 6-8 weeks then I get a random letter dated 3 weeks after the report saying they had all the info needed and to expect a decision in 8/10 weeks I mean why so long that would be 11-14 weeks from report they had ?
also is it possible for a DWP decision maker not to score points as assessor did ie lower them ? Hence they went for further info from somewhere as the 3 weeks inbetween report seems weird and has put me in a downward spiral so any help gratefully recieved and sorry for the long winded rambling message

Well done on having a good assessment. It is hard to say what is going on to be honest. Try not to over think it.
