Reporting self-employment expenses on UC

Has anyone navigated UC and reporting expenses when they're not gainfully self-employed?
I always put £0 down because I found it overwhelming, and I had no support to parse exactly what's eligible and what isn't. but i really need as much money back as possible so am looking t finally do this.
The expenses include:
- Two custom domains (one each for my freelance sites) + WHOISLOOKUP to prevent doxxing
- Canva Pro (in order to publish my UGC site)
Also potential subscriptions ot newsletters so i can access opportunities.
I've also ended up mixing both my personal and business expenses together over time as my focus moved away from self employment and towards leaving the UK. i'm not gainfully self-employed.
I know they'll ask for receipts, but will they also ask for my bank account statements too? is it guarenteed?
Will I be able to claim back expenses for past months too? I had to spend money on renewing my video editing software.
Thanks :)

You need to be careful to report the correct information as if UC decide to ask for evidence of your finances they would probably query why you are failing to disclose unearned income. You should be reporting your income from self employment within the assessment period in which the payments are received and made. It is extremely unlikely that UC will allow you to claim for any expenses incurred in previous assessment periods. If you are unsure how to report income and expenses you could ask your work coach if you have one. There is some useful information on a couple of websites links provided below:
