Hi I am trying to find out some information for a friend. They had to apply for pip. Sadly they have been declined. They are going for mandatory reconsideration. . Should there dla still continue while they look at the decision again?

Hi gman and welcome
Sorry to say that once a decision is made that superceds any other so if your friend was award 0 then DLA will stop. Mandatory reconsiderations don't have a very high success rate so your friend should be prepared to go to tribunal.
Has your friend requested a copy of the assessment report ?
