PIP Not renewed
My daughter has claimed low mobility for the last 3 years. Her last payment was due 5th September which never went into the bank. We phoned PIP to discover her PIP was stopped 2nd September and that she had an overpayment. Anyone know how long this takes to sort? I can’t see how she would have an overpayment when her 4 week payment was due 3 days after decisions made.

How long was her award given for?
Has she received/completed review paperwork recently?

Her reward was extended May 25. Had Capita meeting and had received the report so we were pretty certain she wasn’t going to be rewarded but don’t know why they are saying an overpayment when her award was ended by PIP 2nd September and her 4 weekly payment was due 5th Sept which they didn’t pay. Previously she won at tribunal

Have you attempted to call Debt Management to get details? Their number is: 0800 916 0647.
The only thing I can think is they generated the payment for the full four week period, and recalled it to deduct the number of days she would have been paid for that she wasn't due.
Good luck in getting it sorted.

Have you received the PIP decision letter after the Capita assessment? Have put in a MR?
You will need to call PIP on the over payment.
