Can you renew your passport, and re apply once it's arrived?

Firstly, I would like to say welcome to the community.
HMRC does not require photo ID for postal applications using the CF411 form. The digital ID check applies only to the online process, not to postal submissions.
If you’re unable to print the form yourself, you can contact HMRC and request a paper copy to be sent by post. Submitting your application this way avoids the need for a passport or driving licence altogether.
It may take a little longer, but for those without photo ID, it’s often the more practical and accessible option.

Just to add, if HMRC finds missing HRP credits, it could boost your State Pension and definitely lead to a lump sum in backpay. Some people have received thousands in arrears, so it’s definitely worth chasing. Hope you don’t have to wait too long to get it sorted.
