statement of reasons

Hi had my first tier tribunal yesterday, and everything stays the same except they increased my points on both care and mobility, they mentioned something about statement of reasons???? I have no idea what this is but said I need it do I have to ask for it please

You can ask Tribunal Clerk for a Statement of Reasons (SOR) for the Tribunal's decision. The judge will write the SOR. If the SOR indicates an error of law, which in fact is very unlikely, you can appeal to an Upper Tier Tribunal. When you get the SOR you can ask in Ask a benefits advisor category whether the SOR indicates an error of law.1
