(Please note this is tongue in cheek, not medical advice, I love Marvel and their amazing movies are not to blame for anything, certainly didn't cause my or anyone else's autism [still not medical advice!!] and like LOL what are the US on????)
Forgetting the science though, seriously, I felt so angry watching the announcement!!!!!!!
And the sweet autistic kid they made stand there while they all talked about how awful ASD was π€¬

Thank goodness for a sense of humour. I don't know how I'd survive in this world without it, because right now it feels like autistic people are living rent free (to quote Sadiq) in a certain headβ¦

It's a busy place within that certain head. It's full of black, brown, gay, trans, disabled, neurodiverse, left-leaning folks, women who haven't had heaps of "enhancements", women who don't look like his enhanced daughter, and anyone with functioning brain cells.
I suspect I'll need to have to physically elbow my way to the bar! π

I'm reading this book which is quite In tense reading for me, called nureotribes about history of autism , and how a scientist was showing signs of autism in the 18th century, also the studies before war times . All this before paracetamol was made.

I didn't read this thread for a few days, as only the title was visible to me. Today I saw who wrote it so decided it was worth a read!! π
This is a perfect example of correlation is not causation

You could use this level of science combined with "correlation = causation" to form a conclusive link that paracetamol prevents autismβ¦
Some children are more extroverted growing up

This was my point exactly! It's been scary seeing how many people have fallen for it and worrying how that might impact pregnant people and babies from getting care they need π
